Iodamoeba butschlii cysts 5 - 20 microns (average 10 - 12) oval to round, 1 nucleus with no peripheral chromatin and large karyosome usually eccentric, characteristic large glycogen mass staining red-brown with Iodine in faecal preparation stained with Iodine. A harmless commensal.
